Cherry Grove
Washington County, 97119
Cherry Grove is absolutely off the beaten path. Originally it was a saw milling town and the location was picked along the Tualatin river to aid in handling logs and generating electricity. Although the site was developed in 1911 the flooding river washed it all away in 1914. They have been struggling ever since. There is a nice water falls not far from town. It looks very much like the one on Little Butte Creek near Butte Falls.
