Monument

Monument is located near the confluence of the North Fork and Middle Fork of the John Day river. I once made it as far as Spray but ran out of daylite so had to turn back before making Monument. That is on the bucket list. My mother has a Boston terrier that came from Monument. She got it as a pup, but now it looks as old as she does.
