Mosier suffers from being too close to I-5, but is well repaid with its stunning view of the Columbia River and Gorge. Cherry and pear orchards rule the landscape and support the economy. You can even buy a "Cherry Farmers' Calendar" at their web page and help support the economy yourself! The town has a variety of older and interesting buildings. It also sports a new group of solar powered condominiums with fantastic gorge views. Its a great place to take a break if you are driving I-5.
