Scio is located between Stayton and Lebanon. It is close to all of the recreational opportunites along the Santiam river. It directly connects with Lyons on the way up the mountains. Their claim to be the covered bridge capital of the world has some validity. Nearby they have five of Linn county's eight covered bridges.
