Eagle Point

Eagle Point is historically the food producing region for the Rogue Valley. It's economy really came to life in the early 1900's when the railroad arrived. This is the same railroad that boosted Butte Falls. Both towns incorporated in 1911. The historical Butte Creek Mill is still operational here. Water is captured in a small dam upstream and flumed down to the mill. They actually grind grain here and you can watch.
